🩹 Recovery and What to Expect

Recovery time depends on the type of surgery, the size/location of the hernia, and your overall health, but most people can go home the same day (outpatient procedure).

General Post-Procedure Guidelines:

  • Activity: Rest when tired, but walk daily to boost circulation and prevent complications. Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity for usually 4 to 6 weeks, or as directed by your surgeon.

  • Pain Management: Pain or soreness around the incision is normal for the first few days and can be managed with prescribed or over-the-counter pain medication.

SpirituaLiving Backpacking Immersion

I am so excited to announce that I am hosting my first ever SpirituaLiving Backpacking Immersion this July 22-24 2025 in beautiful Northern California. I will be joined with 4 beautiful ladies and my daughter, Skylar Allen. We will be backpacking over two nights, three days in Pt. Reyes which is north of San Francisco area along the beautiful Northern California coast. Over the three days we will trek a total of 17 miles and I will be incorporating beautiful SpirituaLiving modalities like a sunrise meditation, women's release circle, and holistic healing sharing. I can't wait to share my passion for backpacking while supporting others on their growth journey.

I will post more here as the trip unfolds.
